A Grafana OnCall alternative, now the open-source version is archived
Grafana OnCall OSS went into maintenance mode on 11 March 2025 and was archived on 24 March 2026. On that date its mobile push notifications stopped, along with the SMS and phone calls that relied on the Cloud Connection (Grafana's notice). Grafana's own path is Grafana Cloud IRM.
If a self-hosted Grafana is what you run, and you are the person it needs to wake, Call Me If takes the place of the part that stopped: getting a phone to ring.
Five minutes in Grafana
- Make an alert source in Call Me If and copy its key.
- In Grafana, add a Webhook contact point with our address and the key as a Bearer credential.
- Click Test. Your phone rings.

What happens when Grafana fires
- Your phone rings full screen, at alarm volume, with the alert's title on it.
- You don't answer, and it rings again, then phones you, then reaches your backup person — if you chose Ring, then call me for that alert.
- When the problem clears, nothing rings. Grafana's resolved message is recognised, so a problem that fixed itself does not wake you twice.
- An alert that fires again and again is one ring. Repeats within five minutes are counted, not rung.
What it does not do
- No rotas, schedules or teams. Every alert goes to you and, if you choose, one backup person.
- Android only.
Why it can be trusted
Your phone checks in every fifteen minutes, and when it goes quiet we tell you — before the night you needed it. We will not promise a hundred percent; we measure what we miss and say so.
